I focus on studying Alewives and their ecology, particularly the effects of natal habitat on juveniles and the implications of this on management efforts. Previously, I’ve assisted with projects involving the physiology of juvenile Alewives ranging from blood salinity to swim trials. My interest in fishes goes beyond ecology and also has gotten me involved with the aquaculture industry, focusing on alternative feed formulations. Going forward, I hope to further my education with either a graduate or doctoral degree at some point in the future.
